WHAT
IS A TRACKING NUMBER?
Tracking
numbers are used by UPS to identify and trace every package as it moves
through the UPS system to its destination. A tracking number is
automatically assigned to your package, whether you use a UPS OnLineŽ
shipping system or a paper-based method (Air Shipping Document, UPS
Waybill, etc.). You can use this number to track, locate and verify arrival
of your package, as well as other details. If you don't have this number
